We’re pleased to announce that Natalie Baptiste, Contract Administrator for Purdy was the worthy winner of the Employee Recognition Award for the second quarter of 2025!
She was nominated because:
“Natalie continuously goes above and beyond. She always starts work early and stays late, proving her loyalty and commitment to the role and her team. She is more than reliable and wholeheartedly deserves to be recognised for the work she does.”
Natalie’s recognition is a reflection of the values we strive for across the group:
Reliable: Natalie has proven to be highly motivated and dependable. She is always willing to step in and take on her colleagues’ workloads when needed, while still managing her own responsibilities to a consistently high standard.
Reputable: She is known for making others feel valued and included. One colleague shared: “Her warm infectious personality has supported my confidence in my new job role and she always checks in on me to make sure I am okay, even though I’m not in her team.”
Integrity: Natalie shows exceptional integrity in her role. She upholds excellent standards and demonstrates her commitment by frequently working additional hours to ensure her responsibilities are completed.
Thank you, Natalie. You have showcased our values and your amazing qualities through your hard work and dedication. You are an asset to the team and the recognition is very well deserved.
Natalie received her £150 worth of vouchers from Tim Venables, Senior Contract Manager at Purdy.
Our Outstanding Nominees
While Natalie took home the award this quarter, the competition was strong, with three other outstanding candidates who carried our Group Values into everything they did and made a positive impact across the business:
Adam Selby, Electrical Apprentice, Dunhams
Nominated because Adam has shown remarkable progress in his apprenticeship, confidently taking on challenging electrical tasks such as rewiring kitchens and electrical testing. His professionalism, proactive attitude and ability to work independently to a high standard, have impressed both his mentors and colleagues. Adam has already demonstrated our integrity, reliability and values, well beyond his level of training.
Paul Smith, Multi Trade Operative, Purdy
Paul was nominated because he consistently motivates his team and leads by example, frequently completing projects ahead of schedule and even stepping in to support others during his annual leave. He has mentored apprentices with his positive, can-do attitude and his punctuality and attendance are outstanding, earning praise not only from tenants but directly from clients.
Lucy Venables, Group HR Assistant, Kinovo
Nominated for her dedication and responsiveness, Lucy always goes the extra mile to provide solutions to queries and issues affecting colleagues across the group. Her commitment to ensuring the smooth running of onboarding and offboarding processes, coupled with her exceptional knowledge of colleagues and contracts, makes her an invaluable member of the team.
Our employee awards run on a quarterly basis and are an excellent opportunity for our team to nominate a colleague that they feel deserves a bit of extra recognition for effort shown and for delivering on our values. Well done to everyone!
