Our journey has already started with significant momentum and we are committed to reaching the goals under our ESGM umbrella – our progress and goals are detailed in this report.
It is imperative that we put our words into action. Accordingly, our performance will be tracked via metrics spanning our focus on the environment, our team and client interactions up to the 31st March 2023.
Our journey to Net Zero by 2040
We will be carbon neutral in just a year.
We will reduce our gross CO2 emissions by more than 50% in eight years, before reaching net zero a decade later.
All our renewing electricity contracts are changed to renewable electricity.
We are a people business
We support more than half a million properties and schools, spanning 33 London Boroughs.
Each of our employees is committed to making our ESGM goals a reality.
We are proud to work with our three subsidiaries – Purdy, R. Dunham and Spokemead.
We are launching our first Diversity and Inclusion Internal Council soon.
We conduct bi-annual pulse surveys with our teams to understand their mental wellbeing.
Aligning to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
The United Nations have identified 17 SDGs, which would make the world a much better place if achieved. We have identified the following goals to align our Group to. Each of these SDGs aligns closely to our core vision, values and offering. We have put in place processes to capture metrics for each, so we can track our impact.
