For those of you who haven’t yet seen our Annual Report 2024, we have enjoyed an excellent year of solid organic growth, and are well positioned to forge forwards for development across our three strategic pillars of Regulation, Regeneration and Renewables.
Of course, to continue to deliver growth and maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction, we need to continue to grow our team with people who bring experience and expertise to the business. That’s why we’re delighted to welcome Fiona Lowe as Group Head of New Business for Kinovo.
Fiona is a well-known face in the housing and service provider sector and will be creating valuable strategic growth opportunities, working closely with our subsids Dunhams, Purdy, and Spokemead . This appointment marks further evolution of our Business Development Team and another step forward in our ambition for sustainable growth.
Fiona comments: “I fell into the sector in 2002 and quickly fell in love with it, as for all its eccentricities, it makes a real difference to people’s lives. That’s not a twee statement. It’s reality. My roots lie in working with tenants and residents, and although as my career moved, I became less people-facing, people remained my passion. I am an avid listener, which combined with my understanding of client requirements, will go a long way towards understanding our subsidiaries’ objectives and identifying opportunities that are a good fit for each of their delivery models.
“I am joining the Kinovo Group at a pivotal time. We’re on an upward trajectory and I want to be part of the team that continues to deliver sustainable growth. Kinovo has a clear strategy and strong Senior Leadership team, of which I’ll be part, focused on delivery excellence, social value, and strategic relationships, combined with genuine mentoring and group support. The Group’s unwavering commitment to frontline customer support, especially through effective resident communications, resonates with my background.
“Across the board, it’s all about sustainable growth, teamed up with developing our retrofit delivery engine. We’re in a great position in this arena, with our PAS 2030 status and experience helping clients deliver and get funding via the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund. Further development in this area will only enhance our genuine turn-key solution with upskilled direct delivery.
“I can’t wait to get started and meet everyone across the group to listen, find out what is needed and then with the support of Trudie Davies and the rest of the business development team, support them in identifying – and winning – suitable new opportunities.”
David Bullen, CEO, comments on Fiona’s appointment: “We are delighted to welcome Fiona to the Kinovo Group. Unquestionably, our people are at the very heart of our business, and it is due to their sustained commitment and efforts throughout the organisation that we made such positive progress. With Fiona (on board), her background, skills and experience will only contribute further to both the team, the business and our future success.”
Lee Venables, COO welcomed Fiona, saying: “To continue our growth, it’s vital that we have a pipeline of relevant opportunities and with her breadth of expertise and deep market understanding, Fiona will help us deliver in this area. I’m delighted to have Fiona as part of the team that is driving our Group forward.”
