The latest WISH (Women in Social Housing) event in London was themed ‘Free to Be Me’ and celebrated the diverse identities and rich cultural heritage of South Asia. A great line-up of speakers shared their unique perspectives and experiences to highlight the strength, beauty, and resilience of South Asian culture.
The discussions were both thought-provoking and inspiring, offering attendees a deeper understanding of the importance of cultural diversity and self-expression. We were also encouraged to wear traditional South Asian attire, adding to the vibrant and festive atmosphere of the evening.
We were honoured to attend this event as members and celebrate the South Asian culture, affirming our ongoing commitment to supporting diversity and inclusion within the sector. We are proud to be part of an organisation that highlights the unique heritage of all its members.
