This week is Talk Money week, a campaign that encourages people to talk about money and encourages everyone to Do One Thing to improve their financial situation.
At a time when people are struggling to make ends meet, we want to be part of any initiative that aims to help, which is why, alongside our client Poplar HARCA, we were proud to be a part of their recent Money Matters event.
As the Electrical Maintenance Contractor for Poplar Harca residents, we got the chance to speak to them and share tips like:
- It is cheaper to use your washing machine between off peak hours when energy prices are lowest?
- Always switch off your appliances from the socket
- Use comparison websites to check you are on the most suitable tariff
- Change your light bulbs to LED
- Only fill your kettle with water required – don’t fill a kettle full if only one cup needed
We also handed out goodies, including LED energy-saving light bulbs, biscuits, and other non-perishable items.
Sometimes, the smallest things have a big impact.
“It’s great to read such brilliant feedback about the Dunhams team and your fantastic contribution to our community event today.
